Having arrived in Sioux Narrows in 1972 I was just a city boy looking for a country lifestyle. Couldn't hammer a nail straight and didn't know what a pipe wrench was. I soon found out that living in a small town you need to diversify. If you want to help your neighbour you better bring something to the job. Over the years I've learned more than a few "country skills". Some I'm better at than others. I did learn that helping other people was very gratifying. The decision to pursue a career selling Real Estate was a natural one and in 1993 I started by working for Remax-Sutcliffe Realty and by 1998 I had formed my own Real Estate business, Northwoods Realty Ltd. The office is on highway 71, along the strip in Sioux Narrows and is open all year.

The spring of 2005 was a proud time for me personally and an important time for Northwoods Realty. My son Jacob decided to enter into the Real Estate business and is now employed as a salesperson. He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a degree in Environmental Science. Jake brings his knowledge and skills back to Sioux Narrows and is a valuable addition to this office.

We have been involved in Real Estate transactions from Kenora to Morson but concentrate primarily in the central Lake of the Woods area of Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls.
