Welcome to Matheson Bay, a picturesque bay located southeast of the town of Morson. Make this your home base to relax, unwind and enjoy some of the best fishing on Lake of the Woods. The move-in-ready cabin is 1,040 sq. ft, plus a small loft area over the kitchen and dining area. The cabin has three bedrooms and one washroom with a sink and a shower. There is an open kitchen/dining/living room which has a great view of the lake and sliding doors that open onto the front deck. The cabin has a metal roof and all newer dual pane windows. The crawl space is skirted-in and there is insulation between the floor joists. Interior finishes include laminate flooring throughout, paneling on the walls, and pine on the ceilings. Behind the cabin are two storage sheds. The larger shed has solar panels on the roof and houses the generator and solar batteries. Newly built (2019) stairs from the cabin to the dock. The dock is a cribbed dock along the shoreline with an 8x12 ft. ramp to an 8x12 section of floating dock attached to an 8x20 section of a floating dock. There is a Slide-moor system on the floating dock. Electricity is provided by a portable Honda 5000 generator and a solar power system. The solar system meets most of the day-to-day requirements for electricity and the batteries are new in 2018. The fridge, kitchen stove, and hot water tank run on propane. Water is pumped with a jet pump up to a barrel on the backside of the cabin and gravity feeds to the cabin. Heat is provided by a wood-burning stove in the living room and a propane heater. There is an outdoor privy. There is a bulk propane tank that gets filled by barge. There is cell phone coverage. Satellite internet is available through xplornet.com Most furnishing and tools are included. This property is accessed by boat, about a 10-15 minute boat ride from Morson.
